The weather in Sardinia is typically Mediterranean, with mild winters and hot summers, and the duration of seasons is different from the rest of Europe.
Winter lasts only from December to February with temperatures between 9°C and 15°C in the coastal regions that can be as low as 0°C in the mountain region.
Spring begins in March with the average temperature lying between 14°C and 20°C, which gives way to an early Summer from May.
During July and August the temperature increases to approximately 30°/35°C, occasionally reaching 40°C inland.
September is still summery warm, and in October late summer temperatures still prevail.
