This vibrant town on Sardinia’s beautiful south coast is a fascinating place with stunning ancient buildings, ancient Roman and medieval ruins, a bustling port, a beautiful beach and an infectious lively atmosphere.
Cagliari will greet you with its colours and the light of a sun that shines for most of the year. This beautiful town always offers its best profile, whether you arrive by sea or on board of a plane, enjoying the sky view of its incomparable panoramas. The port of Cagliari itself reminded the famous writer D.H Lawrence of a dreamlike Jerusalem of glittering domes.
The town opens like a large window between the sea and the rural inland. Earth and water alternate prodigiously; they create wonderful perspectives and also amazingly coloured landscapes.
Civil ceremonies are performed in many locations:
Catholic ceremonies take place in several historical churches and are conducted in Italian with a translator.
Protestant ceremonies take place in a modern Protestant Church located in the town centre or in other places and can be conducted in English and Italian.
Symbolic ceremonies are performed by a Humanist Celebrant almost everywhere.
