Michel & Jess – Elegant catholic wedding in San Pantaleo

Jess and Michel live in Australia but Michel has Sardinian origins because his father was borned in Sardinia. This is the reason for which the couple chose this part of Italy for their wedding abroad.

Michel’s father is Sardinian but had to leave the island many years ago for a better life in Australia.
However Sardinia has still a special place in his heart and he transmitted this love to his sons, especially to his youngest, Michel who decided, together with his fiancé, to get married in the Island at the end of September. After several suggestions they chose the North East of Sardinia.
Following the Italian traditions they had a catholic ceremony in the lovely church of San Pantaleo, a charming village located among the Gallura red rocks. The ceremony was a mix of emotions as it brought families together after many years.
The followig celebrations took place in an exclusive restaurant by the sea in Baja Sardinia, a  seaside resort not far from San Pantaleo where the couple and most of the guests decided to accommodate. The live music of a sax band welcomed the couple and its guests for a rich aperitif at pool side.
An elegant sit down dinner at the panoramic terrace of the restaurant with a special menu dedicated to Sardinia and a funny party till late with wedding cake and Sardinian traditional desserts completed the beautiful event.
