Edel and Mark are Irish but live in Australia in a city by the sea and truly wanted getting married in the sunshine with delicious food and wine which represent who they are and the life they have built in Australia over the last 8 years. Moreover there is a Sardinian bar and restaurant where they live which they love ….. and hence drinking Sardinian wine, so Sardinia linked nicely to their life in Australia!
But they also wanted to keep their Irish traditions so wanted a barn or farm style venue that provides a relaxed environment. Among the venues we proposed they felt in love with Country venue 04 in Pula (south Sardinia) and this is where they tied the knot last July with a large group of families and friends.
The symbolic ceremony was performed by a friend under the olive trees with the live music of a string duo. A rich aperitif outdoor on the grass anticipated the sit down dinner at the courtyard and a party which lasted till late. The couple chose not to have the wedding cake but decided for the typical Sardinia desserts (yummy) with fresh cheese and honey!
This what our couple said:
“[…]Again, just wanted to say a massive thank you for everything. We had an amazing wedding day and a fantastic time in Sardinia. Without your help it certainly wouldn’t have been possible. Thank you so much for all your hard work.
Mark & Edel”
