Off the beaten track, the Costa Verde is probably one of the wildest and most unspoiled areas of the south-west side of Sardinia.
What it is so special about it, are the huge dunes of unbelievable thin amber sand which sheer towards the sea , creating unique, silent and huge beaches, sandstone walls and fascinating bays, together with the usual stunning crystal waters of the sea.
A magic and silent ecosystem with no time relationship due to its economic past which was based on the mining activities till the last mid century. An area now considered as real archaeological mining monument, declared by UNESCO as Patrimonio Culturale dell’Umanità.
It is such a powerful and spectacular view that you may not want to leave that world anymore.
